Liam Afonso

Liam is an award-winning digital storyteller and founder of Ellum Media. He has spent more than thirteen years crafting stories for higher education, non-profits, news organizations, and more. Liam has worked with organizations such as The Globe and Mail, University of Toronto, and Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario to make positive change in the world.

Callista Ryan

Callista is a highly accomplished communications professional with a proven track record in public relations and public affairs. Before leading Ellum's strategic communications, she held executive-level positions at a multi-million dollar organization, where she demonstrated her expertise in creative management and crisis communications.

Nathan Szierer

Nathan is an experienced advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion and joins Ellum as Director of Finance from his most recent role as CFO of a $30 million non-profit in London, Ontario. Nathan has worked across non-profit management, consulting, corporate governance, and sustainable finance, pushing for progressive change in each.

Nathaniel Rojas

Nathaniel is an expressive thinker and designer at Ellum. He has applied years of his background in motion and graphic design communication to achieve successful design strategies in the institutional, technology, and hospitality fields.

Danny Chang

Danny’s expertise lies in delivering strategic solutions and insights through data and technology. He has developed large-scale digital campaigns, ideated and launched innovative digital products, served as a technology advisor to leaders in the private and public sectors, and brings executive experience in public affairs and communications.

Nicole Sofia

Nicole is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and editor and a video storyteller at Ellum Media. She has been telling stories through film for as long as she can remember, with her most recent endeavour winning four festival awards alone.

Elizabeth Hart

Elizabeth is a creative media writer, copy editor, and digital engagement and marketing coordinator at Ellum. She has a degree in media, information & technoculture and a background in journalism, creative production, theatre, and film & television.
